Affiliate Super Promotion:
Making Huge Sales in No Time Part VIII

In this series I am detailing how I put together an affiliate promotion in just 3 days and made over $5,000 in sales-and how anyone can imitate these same techniques.

So far here’s how the promotion went:

  1. I got Marlon Sanders to help allow me to do a teleseminar interview featuring his Dashboard product.
  2. I announced the teleseminar many weeks in advance.
  3. I got sick and did no promotion-none-until just 3 days before the event.
  4. We held the call.
I was now ready for the follow-up.

The follow up was crucial for this promotion. Here’s what I did:

Marlon was kind enough to allow everyone to listen to the audio for the next 10 days after the call, and to allow those who purchased his Dashboard product to download the audio and transcript.

I used Sony’s Sound Forge to break up the audio into 15 or so minute segments and http://www.SonicMemo.com to allow people to play them on their own computer from our website.

That took a day to set up.

I also planned a series of "hold you by the hand" teleseminars following the promotion to encourage more people to buy and participate. Here are the titles:

"How to Quickly Set up a Business That Will Pay you For The Rest of Your Life"

"How to Unlock a Hidden Market Niche that will Provide You with Automatic Profits"

"Putting A Sales Process Together that will Hypnotize Your Prospects Into Buying Your Products"

"The Only Way to Quickly Set Up a Killer Website for Pennies on the Dollar"

"The Exact Marketing Methods You Need to Get Thousands of Ready-To-Buy Visitors to Your Site"

"How to Run Your Business Almost Effortlessly While People Send You Their Money"

I then sent out a reminder email to everyone who had registered for the seminar telling them how they could access the teleseminar-as well as reminding them they could claim $1,000 in bonuses.

I also sent out an email to those who HADN’T registered reminding them they could listen in as well.

The sales began to pour in-I got 69 Dashboard sales that week for a total commission of $2,532.13.

Oh, yeah, and Marlon sent me a trophy and blue ribbon. He’s cool like that.

More importantly, I also added almost 1,000 new people to my own email list. That’s where I intended to make boatloads of sales in the coming weeks and months.
